The family of SGT Robert P. Arteaga, age 23, and the US Army have invited the PGR to accompany their Hero from the airport to the funeral home as he is brought home for his military honors. It will be our privilege to do so.
Robert Arteaga was serving with the US Army as part of the 3-4 BCT at Ft Carson, CO at the time of his passing. He was an exemplary Soldier in every way, and has been posthumously promoted in rank to Sergeant as an example of his outstanding performance of duties. He will be missed by all those who served with him.
SGT Arteaga is also survived by many family members and friends and will be never forgotten.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the airport to hand off to the mortuary, approx 18 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
