The family of Thomas "Tom" Wayne Sanderson, 71, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present at his funeral and military honors. It will be our privilege to attend.
Tom served in the USMC from 02/72 to 02/74 until his honorable discharge where he ranked as a Lance Corporal.
Tom was a talented guitar player, and he enjoyed playing music for his family and friends. Tom was a kind and generous man, and he always had a smile on his face. He was an entrepreneur having started a local small business with his wife they owned for a decade (Desert Towing). He also worked for Gosch Auto Part Group upon his passing. He was a jokester, and he loved to make people laugh.
Tom is preceded in death by the love of his life, Shirley Ann. He was a devoted husband and father to their children, Randy and Kimberly, and he loved spending time with his family. He was always there to support his children in their endeavors, and he was a proud grandfather to his seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
