This is Part 2 of a two part mission
The United States Army and the family of SFC Perrin K. Shaw have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be with them as their hero is brought home for burial.
SFC Shaw was assigned to the 643rd Engineer Company, 11th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division Sustainable Brigade at Camp Humphreys in Korea.
His command said "SFC Shaw of 643rd Engineer Company “Wolfpack” passed away on June 11th, 2023. SFC Shaw was a dedicated professional, serving twice with 643rd on different tours. He selflessly executed his job, going out of his way to help others across organizations here on Camp Humphreys. He was a dear friend to many in the battalion and he will be missed. Sending our condolences and prayers to the Shaw Family during this difficult time. We stand ready to support his Family and friends as they grieve and honor his memory."
NOTE: This mission posting facilitates your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying our hero and his family from the Funeral Home to the Cemetery. If you wish to go directly to the cemetery, please arrive there Not Later Than 1215hrs and we will meet you there. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep the radios off and engine noise to a minimum.
