The family of Clarence Warren has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their hero’s final journey. We are honored to fulfill this request.
Our hero, a member of the “Greatest Generation,” enlisted in the US Navy in 1943 and was honorably discharged in 1948 at the rank of SA-2. While enlisted, he served on several ships including the USS Latona, USS Ponchard, and the USS Stembel.
As a civilian, Clarence spent 30 years as a flight instruments engineer working for McDonald Douglas at both Vandenberg AFB and Long Beach, at which time he and his wife retired and moved to the desert.
He is preceded in death by his wife, and is survived by eight children.

For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to the cemetery, approximately five miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
