The family of Aloysius “Al” Jerome Watts, 79, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the military honors of their loved. It will be our privilege to honor their request.
Aloysius is a Vietnam Veteran. He served in the United States Army from 03/05/1965 and honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 5 (E5) on 03/04/1968. He continued on active-duty reserve until 03/04/1972. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Parachuters Badge, and Sharpshooter Rifle M-14 Badge.
In “Al’s” civilian life, he was a law enforcement officer for 30 years until he retired. He worked for five to six years at Stanton Police Department and at the time of his retirement was with the Cypress Police Department. In his spare time, Al loved to fish, was an avid gun enthusiast, and enjoyed shooting.
Al leaves behind his wife, Anita, as well as son, Sean Watts and daughter, Jennifer Watts. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Brooke, Danny, and Sarah, as well as his brother Scott Watts and sister Margaret Watts.
