We have been invited to be part of the Legacies Alive Challenge this year. On September 24th Army veteran Shawn Patterson will begin a 425 mile trek from Dana Point to Salinas.
Shawn served as a Ranger with the 75th Ranger Regiment and deployed twice to Afghanistan. The end points were chosen as those are the hometowns of two of Shawn's buddies (Tyler Holtz and Ricardo Cerros, Jr.) who died while serving in Afghanistan in 2011. The starting date is the 12th anniversary of Tyler's death.
We hope that PGR in Salinas will be there when he completes his trek in about four weeks.
