We have been invited by the family of William Adrian Garcia, 72, to attend the Military Honors of their loved one.  It will be our privilege to fulfill their request.

William or Bill as his family and friends called him, served in the ARMY / 82nd AB Division as a Specialist E4.

After the ARMY, Bill worked with family restoring the small town of Parker, CO and also applied for the Calexico Fire Dept. and California Highway Patrol. The Fire Dept. offered him a position first, which he accepted, and some time thereafter the CHP offered him a position which he then accepted. He worked as a fireman for approx. 1.5 years before accepting the job offer from the Highway Patrol. He was an officer for the CHP for 28 years retiring in March of 2002.

Aimee, Bill’s daughter says my dad was an avid outdoorsman (until his later years when he physically was not able) earlier in his life he was involved in black powder rifle tournaments, he loved to golf and golfed often with work buddies and friends. He loved riding his Harley and took several long road trips w/ his wife and friends through CA, AZ, CO, WY, NM, UT, NV.  He loved to fish and camp and hunt with his sons, brother, and nephew as well as friends. He raced cars at Cajon Speedway building his own race car. He taught himself to weld, he could build almost anything. He also got into the hobby of knife making and could fix almost any car.

Bill is survived by his wife Janice, his 5 children, Aimee, Sarah, Andrew, Katie, and Daniel and his 7 grandchildren.
