Donald Yonenaga, United States Army Veteran recently passed away without any known family.  However, an old friend and co-worker became his advocate during his final days and coordinated his hospice care and contacted the Patriot Guard to help figure out what needed to be done to have this Veteran properly honored for his service.  One Wednesday, 13 December, we have the opportunity to honor both SP4 Yonenaga and his friend Marc.

Donald served with the United States Army in Germany during the Vietnam era.

Please join us and stand as his family as Donald is laid to rest with full military honors at Los Angeles National Cemetery.

NOTE: This mission posting facilitates your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

Timetable for Wednesday, 13 December 2023:

0930 - Stage in the parking lot next to the chapel at Los Angeles National Cemetery 950 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90049 https://maps.app.goo.gl/uu8KBCqL7Au36avW9

1000 - Mission Briefing

1030 - Expected arrival of Mr. Yonenaga's cremains

NOTE: You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep the radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
