The family of Herbert (Bo) J. Bolton has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Bo joined the Navy in 1948 and left in 1953, serving five years. He qualified aboard USS Pomodon (SS-486) in 1948, serving on her from ’48-’52, but had also served aboard USS Baya (SS/AGSS-318) in 1948, and later on USS Volador (SS-490) from ’52-’53. He left the Navy a Petty Officer 2nd Class.

After his military service, he was very active in the Los Angeles-Pasadena Base/U.S. Submarine Veterans, Inc. (USSVI), serving in Seal Beach.  He worked as a tool & die maker. Then, he went on to making and installing high end draperies including an installation at John Wayne's home and other celebrities.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan Bolton, his three sons, Dennis Williams, Eugene Bolton and Brian Bolton, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
