PGR MISSION ROBERT MONTAGUE WILSON, 82, LCDR, USN, RIDGECREST/MNC 03 JUNE 2024

The family of ROBERT MONTAGUE WILSON, 82, LCDR, UNITED STATES NAVY, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany and attend services for their HERO from Holland and Lyons Mortuary in Ridgecrest, CA to Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA on MONDAY JUNE 3, 2024.  We are Honored to accept their request.

Robert Wilson was born January 19, 1942, in Portsmouth, VA and passed away May 6, 2024, at the age of 82 in Ridgecrest, CA. 
He joined the US Navy on July 25, 1970, as a Light Attack Pilot and served for nearly 14 years.  Immediately following his Honorable discharge, he became a commercial Airline Pilot where he worked for the next 25 years.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary in Ridgecrest to his place of rest at Miramar National Cemetery. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
