We have been invited by the family of Paul A. Thompson, 89, to attend the Military Honors of their loved one.  It will be our privilege to fulfill their request.

Paul served our great country by joining the Navy in 1955, he was raised in Michigan and the Navy brought him to San Diego where he lived the rest of his life.  Paul’s daughter, Tina, tells me that her Father was 6’5” so he said serving aboard ships was a little tougher on his head.

After the Navy Paul served as a Chula Police Officer until he retired from the force.

In his spare time Paul enjoyed Woodworking, tinkering in his garage. Spending time with family. And his motorcycle trips.

Paul was preceded in death by two months by his wife, Nancy L. Thompson, who will be interned with Paul today.

Paul and Nancy had two children, a son John Thompson and a daughter Tina Cavano.  Along with three grandchildren.
