The family of Jean Pierre Gagnier has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to join their hero at his final Military Honors.  It will be our privilege to fulfill their request.

Jean served in the United States Navy from August 1970 to July 1972.  He served in the SEABEES, stationed in Okinawa, Spain and Port Hueneme. At the time of his Honorable Discharge, he held the rank of EO3(E-4), Equipment Operator Petty Officer 3rd Class. He was part of a construction team building landing strips in many locations.

Following his service to America, he became a co-owner and General Manager of Gagnier Construction that builds tilt-up concrete and steel buildings. Projects include buildings up to 350,000 sq. ft. He enjoyed riding his Harley, played golf, and enjoyed scuba diving. Jean loved fantasy sports teams and FanDuel. One item on his bucket list was a trip to see a Raiders Game at Allegiant Stadium. Sadly, he passed while fulfilling that dream. After his passing he was an organ donor in Las Vegas.

Jean is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia. They met in high school when Patricia was a freshman and Jean was a senior. Together they were life and business partners. Our hero is also survived their two sons, Michael and Matthieu. He will also be missed by their 4 grandchildren that he adored and was so proud of.
