This Veteran' Day, the PGR have been invited by the Spirit of Liberty Foundation to accompany the America’s Freedom Bell to and / or in the San Diego Veteran’s Day Parade.  It will be our privilege and honor to fulfill their request.

The Spirit of Liberty Foundation’s patriotic float will proudly be host to two Naval Academy Midshipmen to “man” and ring America’s Freedom Bell at the parade.  They are Midshipman First Class Ms. Sofi Stalker and Midshipman First Class Mr. Solomon Woldeselassie; each are tremendous leaders within the brigade.  Along with Veteran’s from the Korean and Vietnam Wars, we are honored to have Max Gurney, a 103-year-old Normandy WWII Veteran ride on our float this year.

The PGR will meet at the back of The San Diego Air and Space Museum, 2001 Pan American Plaza, San Diego, CA 92101   https://maps.app.goo.gl/Swn6rEJdsYhWA7cd6 at 0700 HRS, leaving from there at 0730 HRS, sharp, to accompany the bell to the starting point of the parade and ride with the bell during the parade.  Please feel free to ride in the accompaniment only.  Ride in the parade only, or both.

If you would like to join us at the parade, please do so by 0900 HRS.  Please go to the starting point of the parade, in front of the San Diego County Administration Center at 1600 Pacific Hwy. The parade will then continue along Harbor Drive.  Let the parade workers know that you are with the America’s Freedom Bell Float.  If you are having trouble finding us, call Paul for directions.  (619) 838-9123
