The "Mom's of Military" Organization and the surviving family members of Heroes killed in action, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend their 10th Annual "Remember Our Heroes" Tribute To The Fallen Memorial, at Fairmount Park, Riverside, CA and we are honored to attend. Many of us have ridden on the Missions to honor these same Heroes, when they arrived home after being Killed in Action.
This annual event is the 10th and honors our Hero, Army SPC Spencer Karol, who has Passed In Review. SPC Karol's mother is Bridget Madison, an active SoCal PGR member. Bridget will be there, as will the general public. A banner honoring SPC Karol will be presented.
We have been asked to provide the "Introduction" to the evening Memorial Celebration by arriving in a column of two's with engines roaring and flags flying! We are honored to do so. Additionally, 3 of our Bikes with Patriotic Themes will be placed in a position of Honor to help inspire Patriotism among the general public in attendance. The Patriot Rider Song and introduction will be given about our activities prior to our arrival so that the Public will know what is happening.
We will stage at alternate location and ride in with flags flying in a signal to the hundreds expected to attend that the final Memorial Ceremony is about to begin. We will then stand a flag line to honor our departed Heroes during the Ceremony. Although this is NOT about us, our arrival brings all the Pomp and Ceremony one would expect for a true Hero. I have received requests from multiple sources to once again arrive with full fanfare. We will be honored to do so.
Do NOT go directly to the park. The parking there will be extremely limited. We must arrive together in a group. Because this is an Annual Memorial, different Heroes will be honored each year. This is our second year in a row that we will attend this mission to honor a fallen Hero and this time its a PGR family member. Truly a Special Event.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).
