It is an honor that the Los Angeles Police Department and the family of  Erick Alcaraz invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral and honors.

 

Erick proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps prior to joining the Los Angeles Police Department in February 2013.  After graduating the Police Academy,   Police Officer I  Alcaraz transferred to and served Southwest Area community.  On Monday, 8 SEP 14 Erick was to begin serving the community of West Los Angeles as a Police Officer II, however, on 6 SEP 14, Erick was killed in a traffic accident when a vehicle made a left turn in front of the motorcycle he was riding.

 

Erick is survived by his father, Roberto; mother, Leticia; brothers, Roberto and Yonathan (U.S. Army)

 

Note:  This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this law enforcement officer and military veteran.  For those interested all are welcome.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
