The family of Eliseo Diaz Ramirez, 33 has invited the PGR to be present to honor this young man for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.
 
Eliseo served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 until 2009, serving as a Helicopter/Tiltrotor Components Mechanic.   
 
He served two tours in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  For his service he received the following: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (2d Award); Iraq Campaign Medal, Iraq (2d Award); Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Certificate of Commendation (Individual Award); Certificate of Appreciation and the Marksman Rifle Badge. At the time of his discharge, he was a Lance Corporal.
 
In civilian life, Eliseo loved cars and drawing cars.
 
Eliseo is survived by his parents Miguel & Cesila Ramirez and siblings Francisco, Miguel, Marcos, Guadalupe, Ladislao, Encarnacion, Pablo and David.
 
The family has asked for a Flag Line at the mortuary, a 3-mile accompaniment to the cemetery and a Flag Line graveside.
 
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
