The family of Jesse Louis Arellano, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders accompany and honor their hero at his final services. It would be our honor.
Jesse Louis Arellano, born 3/30/1946, passed to eternal rest on 9/27/2014. Jesse entered the US ARMY right after high school on May 11, 1967 and was discharged honorably on April 23, 1969 at the rank of SP4.
After basic training and later EQ Mech. training, he was sent to Fort Benning, Georgia for Viet Nam service training where he was assigned to the 101st. Airborne Division. After such training, his orders were received and to his surprised as well as the relief of his mother, the orders sent him to Germany where he completed the rest of his military service.
Jesse was a marksman with the M14, a sharpshooter with the M16 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Jesse is survived by his son, Alexander, his mother, sisters and brothers.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero from the mortuary to his final resting place. You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
