The family of Russell Wayne Lewis has invited Patriot Guard Riders to attend his services and honor him, and it will be our privilege to do so.
Russell served in the 5th Army Calvary in 1946-47 following the end of WWII and was a part of the Japan Occupation Force. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal; achieving the rank of PFC at discharge.
Following his military service Russell worked for Douglass/Boeing for 38 years. He was a handyman in electronics, loved softball and motorcycle events, and especially loved his 1980 El Camino. As a fellow PGR he will be remembered by many of us as a participant in the weekly Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Circle in the City of Orange.
Russell is survived by his wife of 67 years Genevieve (Jackie), three children: Lewis (wife Lisa), Kathy (husband John) and Jamie (husband Steve); eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He loved his large family and was called Grandpa by all.

Russell Wayne Lewis You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please ride/drive safely.
