We have a request to provide a flag line to honor Raymond S. Garcia, 85, US Army and Army National Guard. It would be our privilege to so.
 
Raymond enlisted into the Army in 1954 and served unto 1958 with the last two years being in the Army National Guard.
 
In civilian life, Raymond spent his life in service to his country and community. He worked as a firefighter at the Yuma Proving Grounds. He also was employed at March AFB, George AFB and several other bases as a firefighter, fire inspector and fire inspector chief. He was also a Deputy Marshal, and Riverside Sheriff Bailiff.
 
Raymond is survived by his wife of 58 years, Faye, siblings, Richard, Gilbert, Mitchell, Victor, and Blanche, children, Gary, Maryellen, Sabrina, Michael, Gregory, Robert, Keith and Eric and 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
 
The family is requesting a flag line at Riverside National Cemetery 4 Feb. 2015 at 1015

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from family home to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
