The family of PFC Agapito Zaragoza, Vietnam Veteran, has invited The Patriot Guard Riders to attend his final services and Military Honors, it will be a privilege to do so.
Agapito is one of our special Veterans who Honorably served our country twice, 9-26-69 to 5-25-70 later returning and ending his service on 8-6-73.
PFC Zaragoza saw heavy conflict on both tours, he was awarded 2 Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star, the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Campaign Service Medal and was a Sharpshooter.
Unfortunately Agapito was exposed a great deal to Agent Orange during his tours and he suffered from its effects the rest of his life. PFC Zaragoza passed this month from the effects of Agent Orange. Our Hero was 68 years old.
Agapito loved cars and motorcycles, and was a true patriot and member of the VFW.
Agapito leaves behind two daughters with whom he was extremely close, Cynthia Zaragoza and Stephanie. He was remarried and leaves behind his wife, Jeronima and two step sons.
NOTE: This is a Combat Related mission, there will be dog tags. NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place.
