The family of Army Veteran SPC Daniel (Danny) Scafuto has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service and his sacrifice to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Danny served two years, 1967 - 1969, in the U.S. Army, including two tours in Vietnam, with the 101st Airborne Division, earning various service medals. His rank at discharge was Specialist 4. Danny was a 100% disabled veteran as a result of Agent Orange and other service related factors.
This is being recognized as a combat related mission, there will be dog tags to honor this Hero. In civilian life he spent more than 40 years in the trucking industry, driving for various trucking companies. He also was a New York City Police Officer in Brooklyn, a freelance photographer, an auto restorer and salesman as well as an entertainment financier.
