The family of SO3 Jason Kortz has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present as they pay final honors to their Hero, we will be honored to so.
 

SO3 Jason Kortz, 29, U.S. Navy SEAL was killed in a skydiving mishap near Perris Valley Airport in California. He had been a SEAL for just under six months. Jason was assigned to the West Coast-based SEAL Team since October 2014 after he completed Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL and SEAL Qualification Training in Coronado, California. He graduated as the Honor Man of Class 303.
 

Jason was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
 

Jason was a native of Massachusetts when he enlisted in the Navy. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master of business administration, both from the University of Denver.
 

Jason will be deeply missed by his family and the Naval Special Warfare community.
 

He is survived by his wife, parents and a brother.

You do not have to be a Veteran or motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  Everyone is welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please ride/drive safely.
