THE TIME FOR THIS MISSION HAS BEEN CHANGED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL TIME.  SEE TIME TABLE BELOW!

NOTE: The time for this mission has been moved forward 1-hour to accommodate the time change of the service at Miramar from 1230 to 1130.  Please see NEW Time Table below.

This mission comes to us from the Hero's cousin, Lionel deBoisblanc, also a veteran of the Vietnam War.  Lionel is acting on behalf of the Hero's widow and family. The family is requesting an accompaniment and flagline for USAF veteran Deslonde (Lonny) deBoisblanc.  It will be our honor to do so.

Deslonde (Lonny) deBoisblanc served in the USAF from 1963 to 1967.   He was an E-4 when honorably discharged.  His duty while serving in Vietnam was receiving requests for air support from military on the ground and radioing in those requests.   Among those requests were those from his cousin Lionel, a fact the two men discovered many years after the war.

In civilian life Lonny enjoyed restoring exotic cars and was a hot rod fabricator.

Lonny is survived by his wife Carol and his three daughters, Michele, Sara and Francesca.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
