Part 2 of 2 parts

The Hero's twin brother and the U.S. Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present when this Hero comes home for his honors and interment, we are very honored and privileged to be there.

SGT Wallace J. Dawson was serving with Company L, 3rd Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, U.S. Army, in South Korea.  He was captured by the enemy and held in a Prisoner of War camp where he died on 14 February 1951.

He was accounted for on 26 February 2015, and is now being returned home, after 64 years, to his surviving brother in Santa Barbara County, California for burial and the military honors befitting a Hero.

The PGR is honored to attend the services and military honors of this great Hero who served in the Korean War and was held captive in a Prisoner Of War camp where he perished.

He has finally come home to his country, his family, and the American people who owe their freedom to his sacrifice. "Never Forgotten!"

SGT Dawson is survived by his twin brother Warren Dawson.

For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral chapel to his final resting place.
