Honor Flight is a program to transport Veterans to Washington, DC to see the sights of the Capitol of this country that they helped defend and protect, and be honored as they so richly deserve.
We at the Patriot Guard are honored that we've been requested to Welcome Home the most recent group of Heroes to be gifted with this trip. This is a group of twenty WWII Heroes, members of our 'Greatest Generation'. The unique thing about THIS Honor Flight is that 11 of the Veterans are Women, a record number!
We will have the honor of meeting, shaking the hand of, and honoring History!! These Heroes represent the history of our country, you won't want to miss this! Bring your flags, banners, smiles, thank you's and good wishes!
What a wonderful way to spend part of Mother's Day, greeting and thanking these 20 Heroes, 11 of which are Women who served in WWII and are likely Mothers, Grandmothers and Great Grandmothers!!
This event will take place at Ontario Airport
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Military Veterans.
