The family of William A. Durvin has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his funeral service and honor him. It will be our privilege to do so.
William A. Durvin entered the U.S. Air Force in May, 1966 and was honorably discharged in May, 1970.
After the military William continued to serve his country in the civilian sector working for the Dept of Defense for the next 42 years. He was very proud of his work with the Sidewinder Program and earned many commendation letters and civilian awards for supporting the Warfighter.
William is survived by his wife Carolyn, known as 'Littledeer', and she says he was an amazing husband and father of 3, two sons and one daughter. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
