This is part 2 of a two part mission.

The family of SGT Eric Gharakhanian have asked Patriot Guard to be present for the arrival of their son back home and for his final journey.  We are proud to be able to stand for SGT Gharakhanian and will accompany him and his family to his final resting place.

Eric was a member of the 1st Cav and had previously served in Afghanistan, with distinction, in support of the GWOT.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

0815 - Mission briefing

0830 - Flag line for family entering church

1000 - Flag line for family departing church service. Walk to grave site for final military honors.

NOTE: If you plan to arrive after 0830, please do so quietly as services for the hero will be ongoing.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

The weather is predicted to be hot please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat, it can made a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.
