**UPDATE** The Time Table for this mission has changed significantly.  Please see the **UPDATED** Time Table below!**

The family of US Army Lieutenant Colonel John Robert Quesenberry (Ret), has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero and attend his services.   We will be honored to do so.

John served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1985 as a pilot in Vietnam War and was with the 155th and 188th AHC. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with 2 OLC, Legion of Merit, Air Medal (24 awards with 1 for valor) Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars; Meritorious Unit Commendation, Vietnam Air Service Honor Medal (1st Class), Vietnam Gallantry Cross w/palm (unit). John spent three tours in Vietnam amassing 4230 flying hours with 1570 combat hours.

In civilian life John worked for Cubic Corporation.  He later joined his first wife's own business, HEQ Enterprises, as a Manufacturer's representative within the defense contracting industry.

John was preceded in death by his first wife. He is survived by his second wife, their two children and 10 grandchildren.

This Hero's passing was combat related so there will be tags for this mission.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
