We just wanted to thank you and all of our Brothers and Sisters in the PGR for you support, cards, visits and help during the time that Robert was in the hospital and recovering at home. We had no idea how very precious the PGR Brotherhood was to us until this happened to Robert! Everything you all have done and said to help, encourage and support him is greatly appreciated!
He goes to the Oncologist on the 13th of August when we will find out if they will use the new trial drug IL- 2 and how grueling this treatment will be. This drug is thought to stop cancer from growing. We have heard very positive things about it and we are very hopeful for a full recovery. They found nodules of cancer in his lung and on the rib and he was given a prognosis of 5 years if this drug does not work.
We would greatly appreciate your continued good thoughts and prayers for a full recovery and a miracle outcome with treatment.
