Per request of one of our own, PGR Brother Ray Gould, and the family of Delbert Queen have invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.

Mr. Queen proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Queen was a Sergeant with the 320th Infantry Regiment, Company G seeing action in Germany. Included in the numerous citations and awards that he received was a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts.

After Mr. Queen’s honorable discharge from the Army, he worked construction most of his life. In 1973 he started an RV supply company and worked there for twenty years.

Mr. Queen is survived by his wife of 71 years, Jane; two sons, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.

The weather is predicted to be hot so please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat; it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
