This is Part 1 of a 2 Part Mission.

The family of CW2 Andrew J. Saunders has requested the Patriot Guard be with them as their loved on is brought home for his final journey, and we are proud to be there for them.

CW2 Saunders proudly served as an Army Aviator with the 4th Aviation Regiment out of Ft. Carson.

Time Table for Monday, 14 Sep 2015:

1515 - Mission Briefing

1600 - KSU to Arrival location

1630 - Expected KSU to Acherson and Graham Mortuary 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504 https://goo.gl/maps/aX2wi

1645 - Expected arrival at Acherson and Graham - Flag Line for dignified transfer from the coach to the facility.

Part 2 will occur on 16 Sept.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. We will be accompanying the hero and his family from the arrival location to the mortuary. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would prefer to go directly to the mortuary, we will meet you there.

NOTE: This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving.


You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please ride/drive safely.
