The family of SPC Zachary J. Carpenter, and the U.S. Army have invited the Patriot Guard to attend the arrival and services for this Hero, it would be our honor to do so, and we gratefully accept.

SPC Zachary Carpenter enlisted in the U.S. Army in June, 2008, he was most recently stationed at Ft Lewis, WA and attached to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), who he served with when deployed to Afghanistan in 2011/2012.

Zachary was a long time resident of Oxnard as are other family members.  His father, Gordon Carpenter, is a PGR member.

SPC Carpenter is survived by his wife, Lindsey, his son Trevor, his parents Gordon and Pam Carpenter, and his brother Levi Carpenter.

We will meet this Hero's arrival as he is flown home to So Calif from the State of Washington, and we will attend services and military honors for him.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the airport to the funeral home. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
