The family of Thomas Hernandez has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his distinguished service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Tom served in the Army National Guard from February 1965 to February 1969, attaining the rank of SGT E5 at discharge. His family has been dedicated to the military. His son Thomas Jr was a proud army veteran. Three grandchildren are currently in the army, two now serving in Korea.  Another grandson served in the Marines. Tom had an additional 10 years of military service, unfortunately while in the grips of Alzheimer's disease he through out most of his military records.

After his military service he worked for a trash service company. Tom loved to golf.  He tried to get his kids and grand-kids to learn the game, and enjoyed taking them on joy rides in his cart.  He loved coking for them all.

Tom is survived by four children, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
