This will be a two part mission The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to honor Sgt Christopher Joseph Ruiz, 29, Active USMC reserves and U.S.A. Contractor in Afghanistan, we would be honored to do so.
Sgt Christopher Ruiz served in the U.S. Marine Corps from August, 2004 to July, 2014 when he was honorably discharged and transferred into the USMC Reserves where he was still currently serving. At the time of his passing Sgt Ruiz was working for the U.S. Govt as a private contractor assigned to the military in Afghanistan and a plane he was on with other active duty crashed on the runway.
Sgt Ruiz loved the Corps and loved his country and was very happy to continue serving and supporting his beloved USA. Chris also loved riding motorcycles and his wife tells us he would love that the PGR will be there to accompany him on his last ride.
Chris is survived by his wife Lorelyn, his 3 children, Brooklyn, 5, Carter, 3, and Aria, 1, and several siblings.
