The family of Richard Wesley Plummer has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Richard W. Plummer served with the US Navy during WWII, Dec 1942-Dec 1945. During his time in the military he served at several locations stateside and also aboard the Naval Amphibious Assault Ship USS Leedstown (AP-73) and the Northampton Class Cruiser, USS Houston (CA-30). He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with Star and attained the rank of Seaman 1st Class.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife. He is survived by a daughter and two sons.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
