The family of PO1 Gordon R. Coggins has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the services of their loved one and honor this American Hero. We are honored to do so.
Gordon Coggins proudly served in the US Navy 1959 – 1982. He was deployed to Vietnam and received a Presidential Citation for his actions there. Upon retirement from the Navy, Gordon worked as a Sheet Metal Worker at Test Sight Nevada, Area 51. He loved nature, birds & animals. Gordon had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone.
Family survivors are Wife, MaryElizabeth Coggins, Daughter, Cheryl Roebuck, step children, Darrell Long, Fred Long, Dean Long, Laurea Doulougeris, and 3 grandsons.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
