Hello Everyone,
I wanted to extend my deepest thanks to my PGR family for the mission they just completed. The R/C for the mission was Lorenzo Lizarraga / SoCal PGR Ride Captain.
There were approximately 15 riders, a friend of the family riding, and about 10 to 15 cars participating in the escort to take my Father from the mortuary in Escondido to his final resting place at Miramar National Cemetary.
This was my 60th PGR mission, and I don't remember another mission going as smooth as this one did! From the pledge of allegiance, to the briefing, to the flag line at the mortuary and then the actual escort, everything was perfect! My family had nothing but praise for the way the PGR handled this very important day in our lives!
When we arrived at Miramar National Cemetary the precision, dedication, honor, and care only continued. I have never been on this side of a mission and I didn't really know how it would feel. Having my PGR brothers there really felt like family! The way all the attending PGR members handled themselves and interacted with my family and our other friends made us all think of them as an extended portion of our family!
In closing, I just want to say, I have never been as proud of and honored to know a particular group of people! My Father had always wanted to attend a PGR mission. Well, he finally got to! I know in my heart, he would not have been more honored and prouder than he was during this mission!
From the bottom of all of our hearts, THANK YOU for what you did for us! Stay safe, and I will see you all soon!
Respectfully Submitted,
Mark D. Cahill.
