The family of Frank T. Bausmith has asked the PGR to accompany him to Conejo Mountain Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2052 Howard Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012
 
Mr. Bausmith joined the US Navy in February 1943 and was discharged in July 1946.  He was a Pharmacist Mate 3rd Class.  Served in the Pacific Theater during his first enlistment and in March 1949 thru February 1950 in the USMC Reserves in the 21st Infantry Battalion.  During his tour of duty he was awarded 2 Bronze Stars, Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation, Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.
 
Born in Irwington, NJ.  Married to Jeanne for 68 years and had a son Frank, daughters Barbara, Carol, Lynda and Joanne.  14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  Frank was a Construction Supervisor in civilian life.  He will be missed by many.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
 

NOTE:In November we accompanied Mr. Bausmith from the funeral home to Conejo Mountain Memorial Park  but because the grave site was still under construction his services were postponed until 10 January.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
