The family of Lloyd “Mac†McCarthy has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.
Lloyd “Mac†McCarthy was born in Springfield, Ohio on 21 March 1942 and entered into eternal rest on 04 August 2013.
“Mac†proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from February 1962 to September 1965. While in the Air Force, he serviced as an Air Policeman. “Mac†was honorably discharged from the Air Force as an Airman First Class (E-3). Some of the medals/awards that “Mac†was received included the Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and was the recipient of a Purple Heart for wounds received in combat.
“Mac†moved to California at an early age and after graduating from Compton High School, he enlisted in the Air Force.
After the military “Mac†sold Life insurance for many years.
“Mac†is survived his sons, Brent and Kevin and his three daughters, Michelle, Alicia and Carolina. He leaves behind numerous grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).
