We have been invited by the son of this Hero, himself an active duty Navy Chief, to honor his father at his interment and military honors. We our honored to do so.

Alberto Padilla proudly served in the US Army from March 4, 1954 until honorably discharged Feb. 17 1956 as a PFC.  He was assigned to 52nd infantry.  He is a Korean war Veteran

In Alberto's civilian life, he worked at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey, Puerto Rico for 22 yrs. as a security supervisor.  After retiring he moved back to San Diego.

Alberto is survived by his wife of 34 yrs Miriam, 5 children, and 6 grand children.
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
