The family of CAPT Gerry Vincent Meskill has invited the PGR to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Gerry, a Captain in the Medical Service Corps, served proudly in the U.S. Navy from June 1961 to June 2003 (42 years).   He received his MD degree in Health Care Administration from George Washington University, commission as an Ensign, MSC in San Diego and earned his Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration.  Gerry was deployed to Vietnam as a Combat FieldMed Corpsman with the 1st Marine Division and again with the 1st Hospital Co.  Among his many awards Gerry received the Bronze Star and Legion of Merit (2).

In retirement Gerry enjoyed his Gold Wing motorcycle and riding with the San Diego Gold Wing Chapter CA1F.  He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 2 granddaughters, his 4 siblings.

The family has asked Gerry’s friend and fellow Gold Wing rider Lorenzo Lizarraga to RC the mission.
