The family of Sgt Steven Michael Cox, 26, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Steven Michael Cox of Milton, Florida, enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 2010.  He was attached to MALS 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and served as an Ammo Technician in Afghanistan.

This hero loved to ride his motorcycle and was riding last weekend when he crashed in north San Diego County.   Sadly, he died of injuries sustained in that accident.

This hero’s family has asked that we accompany him as he begins his final journey home to the state of Florida.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from the mortuary to the airport for his final journey home. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

Time Table for Friday, May 5, 2017:
1830 - Stage at Jack in the Box Restaurant, 6987 University Ave, La Mesa, CA 91942 https://goo.gl/maps/KuXcSRNUdj62

If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
