The family of Gary D. Strong, USA, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to our country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Gary enlisted in the United States Army on 13Oct66 and was honorably discharged on 13Jun69. He saw service in the Republic of Vietnam from July, 1679 to June, 1969. At discharge, Gary had risen to the rank of E-6, SSgt. While in Vietnam, he was assigned to the Army Corps of Engineers as a heavy equipment operator and was tasked with clearing roads, working on runways and improving tactical areas.
After his service was complete, Gary went on to work for 3M as a shift supervisor for 35 years.
In his off time, Gary enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He was very proud of his service and was very patriotic.
Gary is survived by his wife of 50+ years, two daughters and their husbands, and seven grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
