The family of SFC Norman C. Fernandez, 49, and the US Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral service and Military Honors for their Hero, we would be honored to do so.

SFC Norman Fernandez was currently serving in the US Army when he sadly passed away.  He served over 16 years in the Army and felt privileged to serve his country,  He served in many locations throughout the world including deployments to the middle east in the Global War on Terror.

Wherever he served he always looked forward to returning home to his family, the most important thing in his life.  He loved spending time with them barbecuing on the patio and sitting with his loving wife MaryAnn. He loved watching sports, his favorite teams were the Chargers and the Lakers. He was a great listener who would give great advice to many, always kind and loving and patient with all those who knew him.  The kind of guy who would give the shirt off his back to help others.

Norman will be sorely missed by all who knew him, his family, friends and those he served with.

Norman is survived by his loving wife MaryAnn, daughter Raylene, sons Byron and Ronnie, and their spouses, brothers Fred, Joe and Ed, and sister Judy, and many nieces and nephews.
