The family of CWO2 Brian White, 30, and the US Army, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany and attend his funeral service, we would be honored to do so.

Chief Warrant Officer White had been in the US Army since 2011 after already having been a commercial pilot and having been in Law Enforcement for a short while.  He was a helicopter pilot for a Medevac unit out of Fort Irwin, and had been deployed to Afghanistan.

He loved being in the Army and working on and testing the aircraft, he would burn the midnight oil troubleshooting a problem.  He was well liked by the other soldiers in his unit and will be sorely missed for his kindness, his patience, and his sense of humor.

He had been stationed at Ft Irwin for 2 years, and shortly after transferring there he went to a local nightclub and met the love of his life, Rebecca Raymond, they have been inseparable ever since.  They are described as being a "Disney couple", and shared many interests.  Rebecca was a Deputy Sheriff with San Bernardino County, and had also worked for the prison system as a Correctional Officer.  They also both loved running and participated in marathons together, they were very active.  They also loved participating in and attending community events.

A few weeks prior, Brian had a engagement ring designed for Rebecca and was planning just the right time to ask her to marry him.  That time came on Friday, June 28th on the tarmack at the airport where they rented a plane for the weekend, he went down on one knee and she, of course, accepted.  They were enjoying a perfect weekend celebrating their engagement and were flying home when their plane went down over Big Bear and both perished.

CWO2 White's service will be held in conjunction with Deputy Rebecca Raymond's service, there will be no interment.  Their ashes will be scattered together at a location determined by their families at a later date.
