The family of Hilda Serr, USA, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in her final Military Honors. It will be our honor and privilege to do so.
Hilda enlisted in the United States Army on 29 March 1944 and was honorable discharged on 16 December 1945. She was assigned during that time to a glider pilot training facility in Lubbock, TX. Hilda rose to the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.
After her service during WWII, Hilda worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of the Ventura County School District. She loved her family and enjoyed ocean sailing.
Hilda is survived by a daughter and two sons, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying our Hero and her family from the church to her internment site for military honors. You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
