The Family of Raymond Rivera " Boxie " Perez, 84, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to help Honor his service to his Country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Raymond served in the United States Air Force from 16 January 1953 to 15 January 1957 when he was honorably discharged from active duty. He also served in the reserves for many years where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served during the Korean War as a flight line Mechanic and was tasked with bringing Hero's remains home from Korea.
Raymond worked in Real Estate after his military service was over.
Raymond loved to work on Old cars, hit the Casino now and then, and spending time with his family. He also established and paid for a Christmas Party at the Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino for all that were stationed there.
Raymond is survived by his Wife Angelina, Son Raymond, Daughter Linda Grandsons John and Dominic, Sister Cindy and two brothers David and Tim.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
