The family of
Paul Nelson Binner, US Army and Vietnam veteran, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor him for his service to our country. It would be our honor to do so.
Paul Binner was born in North Tonawanda, NY in 1946 and entered active duty February, 1967 in Los Angeles, CA. At the time of his induction, he as living in San Diego, CA. Paul was attached to Company C, 41st Signal Battalion as a 36C20, Lineman.
For his service, Paul was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert Marksmanship-M16, and Overseas Service Bar (2 awards). At the time of his discharge, Paul had attained the rank of Specialist 4th Class (SP4).
Paul had quite a variety of interests. These included coin collecting, gardening, wood carving, and painting. He is survived by a sister and his good friend David who brought us this mission.
We will accompany this hero from his friend’s home in El Cajon to Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, a distance of approximately 23 miles.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from a family friend’s home to Miramar National Cemetery for his military honors. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
