El Dorado High School Veteran's Day Ceremony
A YOUTH-LED EVENT
1651 Valencia Ave, Placentia, CA  92870

On Thursday November 9, 2017 at 9:30 am, El Dorado High School, Placentia, CA will honor their Gold Star families and all attending Veterans for their service and sacrifice during their 5th annual Veteran's Day Ceremony.

All Veterans and members of the community are invited to attend this 1hour event.

Colonel Fridriksson 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit Commanding Officer is our main speaker this year and will be leading Roll Call!

Special guest speaker is Amanda Patiño, cousin of El Dorado's Fallen Hero CPL Claudio Patiño IV.

Gates open at 8:45 am.  Veterans are encouraged to sign-up for Roll Call at the main-entrance table and join the Veteran block at 9:15 am.

As in past years, the Veteran Block, escorted by BSA Troop 723 and Esperanza's ROTC members, will open the ceremony.

Changes to this event:

1. The event, with the expressed support of the Gold Star families, has moved from the school holiday to the last day of school before the holiday.  This ensures that all students at El Dorado have an opportunity to attend, learn about the sacrifices of our Veterans and their Alumni, and show their appreciation.

2.  This event will be live-streamed.  If you are unable to attend in person, watch online at www.edtv3.org.
