The family of Kenneth Augustine has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his Services and to honor this American hero. We would be honored to do so.
Kenneth Francis Augustine, 88, served in the US Navy during and after WWII on the USS Rehoboth, a seaplane tender. Ken served from 1944 to 1946 and reenlisted in the US Navy Reserve where he served from 1947 to 1952, Inactive. At the time of his honorable discharge from the Navy, Ken was an Aviation Electrician's Mate 2c.
Ken was born and grew up in South Dakota, with 13 siblings. In 1943 his family moved to the San Diego area. Ken worked for Consolidated Aircraft in San Diego until he enlisted in the Navy. In his civilian life Ken made his home and raised his family in Bonita, and was employed by Pacific Telephone for 35 years.
Ken is survived by wife Mary, a sister Rosemary DePauw-Brown, children Eric Augustine, Christa Duncan, Patty Augustine, Veronica Luker, Tim Augustine and Janie Schenewerk, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
